Option Description
1. Employee/official ・Permanent employee of a private company

2. Officer ・Officer of a private company

・Officer of an incorporated association, incorporated foundation, quasi-governmental corporation, voluntary association, union, and/or a chamber of commerce and industry
3. Public official ・National, local, and/or international public officer

・Personnel who works at public schools
4. Self-employed Self-employed individual proprietor
5. Contract employee Non-permanent employee who has an individual employment contract, such as a contracted employee, temporary employee, and/or non-regular employee
6. Part-time worker Those who do not correspond to any of 1 to 5 and who work as a part-time worker
7. Housewife/houseperson Full-time housewife or houseperson who does not work outside home
8. Pensioner Those who are on a pension or who are pensionable
9. Student Student (regardless of the age or type of academic institution)
10. Unemployed Those who do not work and who do not correspond to 7 to 9
11. Others ( ) Those who do not correspond to any of 1 to 10
