Question

What do I need to know when a person younger than 15 years applies to set up an account?

ANSWER
To open an account for a person younger than 15 years, consent of the legal guardians is required.
Also, a person younger than 15 years cannot apply to set up an immediate account or an online account (and to receive a Cash Card by person-limited receipt mail). Only applications to set up an account that are sent by Post Office mail are accepted. When a person younger than 15 years submits an application, the following documents and signatures are required:
● Two types of ID confirming the identity of the person: a copy of their health insurance card, and certificate of residence (a copy is not possible)
● The signature of a legal guardian
● One ID confirming the identity of the legal guardian: a copy of their health insurance card, and certificate of residence (a copy is not possible)
