What are the international money transfer limits?
The international money transfer limit differs depending on the transfer service.
(1) For the International Money Transfer Service (Western Union):
• The limits for 1 transfer, 1 day, and 1 month (from the first to the last day of the month) are 1,000,000 yen.
• The limit for 1 year (from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31) is 3,000,000 yen.
The country where the money is received might set limits that are different from the above.
For cautionary notes on the main countries where money is received, see the following webpage:
https://www.sevenbank.co.jp/soukin/en/info/attention.html
Note: Be careful, because if the amount transferred exceeds the international money transfer limit, Seven Bank might not accept the transfer, and even if it accepts the transfer, the reception location might not pay out the money.
(2) Philippine Money Transfer Service with BDO Unibank:
• The limit for 1 transfer is 500,000 yen.
• The limit for 1 day and 1 month (from the first to the last day of the month) is 1,000,000 yen.
• The limit for 1 year (from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31) is 3,000,000 yen.
Be careful, because each reception location might have set a different international money transfer limit.
For details on the reception locations, see the following webpage:

Note: In principle, the money cannot be picked up from a location other than the reception location specified by the person who transfers the money.
From time to time, the webpage for Seven Bank international money transfers might provide guidance related to items such as the following: local restrictions, international money transfer limits, legal restrictions, and changes.
For the latest information, check directly with the business partner, local reception location (service window), or receiving bank.
