When I set up my account, I registered my seal (personal stamp) or signature; however, use of procedures that use seals or signatures has now been abolished. Will this affect how I use my account?
From among the customers who set up their accounts prior to 2014-01-10:
(1) For customers who are using the Direct Banking Service:
This abolishment will have no effect on customers because procedures that use seals and signatures were already abolished at the time the start of usage of the Direct Banking Service was registered.
(2) For customers who are not using the Direct Banking Service:
For the various procedures for which a seal or signature has been registered up till now, personal identity will be confirmed by other methods from 2021-07-01. There is no effect on usage of the account.
